Benefits and Rewards

Our trainees are amongst the highest paid outside London, and salaries are substantially in excess of those recommended by the Law Society:

  • 1st year trainee solicitors: £31,000 per annum
  • 2nd year trainee solicitors: £32,000 per annum
  • On qualification: £41,000 per annum

We have an arrangement with UWE and the College of Law to teach both the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and the Legal Practice Course (LPC) to our future trainees. We will pay your tuition fees if you are due to start either the GDL or LPC once you have been offered a Training Contract. In addition a maintenance grant of £7,000 is paid to LPC students and £14,000 (£7,000 per annum) is paid to those students studying for both the GDL and LPC. As well as a highly competitive salary and sponsorship package, we also offer a range of benefits which include:
