As a professional services business, our people are our greatest asset. All 650 (plus) of them live in and around Bristol, reinforcing our commitment to our local community. One of the City of Bristol's largest employers, we take our role in the community very seriously, not least because it has a bearing on the quality of life for us and our families.
At Burges Salmon we concentrate on four areas of community support:
Pro Bono legal services
Free or reduced cost legal services to those who are unable to pay and are themselves providing community benefits.
Charitable Giving
Financial support to community organisations
In Kind Support
Making our facilities available at no cost and recycling furniture and equipment to deserving causes.
Trusteeships and volunteering
The donation of time and non-legal expertise to the community through the assumption of management posts and voluntary activities.
We encourage and support such activities and favour charities, organisations and activities aimed at improving the lives of people in our region. We concentrate on those who are missing out on the economic success of the West of England by reason of social or cultural exclusion, disability, deprivation, lack of education or discrimination.
