Richard joined Burges Salmon in 1994 having joined Freshfields in London in 1989. He works in the firm's Corporate Finance Group and is head of the firm's Private Equity Team. Richard is a member of the firm's International Committee. He specialises in the following areas:

Richard's work focuses on corporate transactions and re-organisations with particular emphasis on the private equity sector. He has significant experience advising institutions, management and investee companies on buy-outs, buy-ins, development capital transactions and refinancings as well as exit events.
