Thermal Treatment and Advanced Thermal Treatment
Advising on Isle of Man, Edmonton, North London, Allington and Huddersfield energy from waste schemes. We are advising on a number of merchant facilities using pyrolysis and gasification technology for the processing of various commercial waste streams.
Local Authorities and contractors
Advising on contracts for the transport, storage, treatment and disposal to landfill of MSW and for the design, construction and operation of CA sites, transfer stations, MRFs, AD, IVC, MBT and EfW facilities
Resource management contractors
Advising on waste supply contracts and waste residue and non-waste product off-take arrangements. Creating facility specific standard form waste supply contracts.
Also advising on corporate structuring, equity and debt funding arrangements including JV arrangements, shareholder arrangements and project finance facilities. Advising on the acquisition and disposal of resource management assets and companies.
Providing advice on all regulatory issues including defences to prosecutions.
Senior lenders
Advising on the Allington, North London, Wakefield and Wrexham facilities and contractors on a range of debt / equity and revolving loan facility arrangements. Advising senior lenders on project financing of a range of technologies - from in-vessel composting to advance thermal treatment.
Local Authority Joint Working
Advised Croydon, Kingston, Sutton and Merton, and Northamptonshire and its districts and boroughs on inter-authority joint working arrangements.
