PPF Levy 2012 2013 - Consultation

The PPF has given details of how it proposes to take account of investment risk and of its new approach to insolvency risk. The levy estimate for 2012/13 is £550 million, the lowest target yet.

Pension Protection Fund - approaching deadlines

Tuesday 30 March 2010 is the first in a series of deadlines for filing information for the PPF risk-based levy in 2010/11 and the following year, 2011/12. There is no leeway: the deadlines are strictly enforced. A lot of information must be filed electronically but certain types have to be submitted on paper. It is vital to allow enough time for this. This briefing gives you the deadlines.

Pensions Regulator and Governance: Right skills and right processes

Radically revised draft guidance on internal controls is the first move in the Pensions Regulator's new campaign to improve pension scheme governance and administration. The consultation paper accepts that, after three years of trying, the Regulator has not managed to persuade many smaller schemes to adopt the processes that deliver good risk management. The new guidance is particularly addressed to these schemes – and sets them a demanding target. Click on the link to read more.
