Advising FirstGroup on a whole range of environmental and health and safety issues including the sale and purchase of vehicle operating depots, end-of-life vehicles, contamination of sites and defence of criminal prosecutions.
Helius Energy Plc
We advised Helius Energy Plc in the sale of its Stallinborough renewable power project to RWE Innogy UK, a wholly owned subsidiary of RWE AG.
Under the terms of the agreement RWE Innogy Ltd acquired Helius Energy Alpha Ltd, which owns the rights to develop and operate a 65 megawatt biomass plant on Humberside, for £28m.
Helius expects the profits following disposal to be £20m and will receive 13% of the annual profit after tax for the first 24 years of operation.
