Agricultural Property Disputes
Our reputation for what Chambers Directory has described as being "at the cutting edge of the law" has included success in the House of Lord cases, Pye v. Graham and Barrett v. Morgan, as well as before the European Court in the case of The Intervention Board for Agricultural Produce v. Penycoed Farming Partnership. The last case resulted in the Government having to amend the Dairy Produce Quotas Regulations.
We act regularly in cases in the Court of Appeal and the lower courts. The firm continues to be regularly one of the top providers of work to the country's leading specialist property barristers, Falcon Chambers.
We regularly appear as advocates in the courts as well as in arbitrations and before the Agricultural Land Tribunal for clients.
This area is led by partners Peter Williams, William Neville and Vivienne Williams together with associate Ben Sharples and consultant James Buxton.
