John joined Burges Salmon in 1997 as a trainee.
John specialises in advising on procurement, state aid, public law and regulatory matters.
Recent examples of John's work include:
- Advising the Department of Transport and the Ministry of Defence on the £3-5 billion search and rescue helicopter project;
- Advising the Foreign & Commonwealth Office on its Shared Services Project and the outsourcing of services in the UK and North West Europe; and
- Advising Ofgem, the gas and electricity markets regulator, on the reform of the wholesale electricity trading and transmission market.
