The judges said: "Burges Salmon continues to shine in its dedicated areas, from nuclear decommissioning through to cutting-edge renewables mandates. In a major highlight, the firm advised Helius Energy on the sale of the development and operation rights to the Stallingborough project - one of the UK's largest biomass plants".

The judges said: "Burges Salmon's highly respected team was hand-picked to provide crucial training to all Barclay's Wealth advisers in dealing with UK-resident, non-domiciled individuals under Schedule 7 of the Finance Act 2008, one of the most important changes in UK international law in recent years".
