Tim joined Burges Salmon in 2004 from Carey Olsen (the largest law firm in the Channel Islands). After gaining his degree in Human Biology at King's College, London, he spent a year at the Université de la Sorbonne in Paris studying French before converting to law at the College of Law in Guildford.
He then qualified into the Trust & Private Client Department at Carey Olsen in Guernsey where he advised local trust companies on a wide range of trust issues.
