After gaining his degree in Human Biology at King's College, London, he spent a year at the Université de la Sorbonne in Paris studying French before converting to law at the College of Law in Guildford. He then qualified into the Trust & Private Client Department at Carey Olsen in Guernsey where he advised local trust companies on a wide range of trust issues. Since joining Burges Salmon he has specialised in: International Trust Advice drafting trust and ancillary documentation for international trust companies advising international trust companies on general trust law International Tax Planning advising non-UK domiciliaries on the income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax implications of being UK resident.
