Barbara began her career with Kensington Swan, a leading New Zealand law firm and was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2002. She joined Burges Salmon LLP in July 2005, qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in August 2006, and became an Associate in November 2006.

The resolution of construction and engineering disputes, including litigation in the English and New Zealand Courts, arbitration, adjudication and Alternative Dispute Resolution processes such as mediations and judicial settlement conferences. |

Drafting consultant appointments and collateral warranties for the design and construction of base build and fit out works. |

General commercial litigation, including acting for individuals and companies in insolvency and debt recovery matters and appearing in the District and High Courts of New Zealand. |
