Suzanna graduated from Cambridge University in 2000 with a degree in Law. Prior to joining Burges Salmon, Suzanna worked for Macfarlanes where she trained and qualified as a solicitor in September 2003. Suzanna specialises in UK and international tax and trusts work. Her work includes the following: tax and estate planning for UK domiciliaries; advising non-UK domiciliaries on the income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax implications of being UK resident; advising UK domiciliaries resident abroad on double tax treaty issues, capital gains tax planning and residence issues when leaving and returning to the UK; drafting trust and ancillary documentation for international trust companies; advising international trust companies on general trust law.
