We advise the Government on domestic and European legislation as well as regulators such as the Drinking Water Inspectorate. We have acted for companies such as Bristol Water plc and Wessex Water plc, and have led the field in developing viable contracts and guidance on water abstraction licence trading.
In addition to our advisory work we have conducted both prosecutions and prepared and conducted defence cases, for example for over-abstraction. We have also conducted litigation on issues such as flooding, in the UK and before the European Court of Justice.
