Unapproved Plans

There are a variety of share-based incentives which do not benefit from approved tax advantages but still prove useful to companies, depending on their circumstances. These include:

  • cash settled or 'phantom' schemes
  • conditional share awards or options, e.g. Performance Share Plans and Long and Short Term Incentive Plans
  • unapproved share options
  • partly-paid share schemes
  • restricted share awards

Elements of different schemes can also be combined in bespoke arrangements to suit companies' particular circumstances.
