Unapproved Plans
There are a variety of share-based incentives which do not benefit from approved tax advantages but still prove useful to companies, depending on their circumstances. These include:
- cash settled or 'phantom' schemes
- conditional share awards or options, e.g. Performance Share Plans and Long and Short Term Incentive Plans
- unapproved share options
- partly-paid share schemes
- restricted share awards
