Advised Croydon, Kingston, Sutton and Merton, and Northamptonshire, on inter authority joint working arrangements
Restormel Borough Council
Advising on the defence of an appeal against an abatement notice served as a result of odours from a sewage treatment works
Avon and Somerset Police Authority
Acting on behalf of 13 other police authorities, in its pathfinder outsourcing of forensic analysis services (estimated value of £200 million), as well as on Project ISiS, a collaborative procurement with two local authorities for shared corporate services (estimated value of £500 million).
BAE Systems
Advising on state aid issues relating to a number of collaborative arrangements including a £17 million DTI backed project including Rolls Royce, Airbus and Williams F1.
Department of Communities and Local Government
Advising on purchasing arrangements for the Pan-Governmental Agreement for geographic information worth in excess of £100m, on behalf of over 100 government departments and public bodies. This includes advice on state aid, procurement and all aspects of the wider commercial arrangements.

Advising on the outsourcing under a PFI agreement of the provision of Search and Rescue Helicopter Services throughout the UK and the Falkland Islands (estimated value between £3 - 5 billion), which is one of the first major procurements to be run under the competitive dialogue
London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority
Advising on various procurements including: its Corporate Property Project, involving the review of its entire property portfolio and the redevelopment of its headquarters building at Albert Embankment (involving the use of the competitive dialogue) and associated fitting out procurements.

Advising on the legal implications of their procurement practices from a UK and EC Treaty perspective.
